PROFILE

Rajashi (Rah-Juh-she) is a Dallas-based illustrator. She specializes in visual storytelling for a wide audience, with an emphasis on educational and children's markets.
Born and raised in India, she studied Graphic Design at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and earned a MFA in Arts, Technology and Emerging Communication from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Previously, she worked as a print and interactive designer, and taught as an adjunct professor. Her illustrations have appeared in the Times of India, World Scientific, and Oxford University Press, among others.
Outside of her studio, Rajashi spends time with her family and six turtles. She teaches art, practices yoga and collects miniatures. She is lured by ancient places, and plans to visit Rapa Nui someday!
